Richard Walsh is originally from Newbridge, County Kildare Ireland. He relocated to the United States in 1996 and currently resides in Southern California. A lifelong photography enthusiast, his current focus is photographing California's diverse and majestic landscapes. Traveling up and down the coastline and into California's interior has afforded him the opportunity to capture pristine images ranging from deserts to beaches, snow covered mountains to coastal inlets.

Richard is constantly refining his craft through education, the latest technology, and exploring new opportunities to bring the beauty of nature into his photography. The current gallery on the website features photos taken in California, Arizona, Idaho, Barcelona Spain and Ireland. His ability to capture light, color and mood brings his images to life.

His enthusiasm is never dimmed by the harsh conditions that Mother Nature sometimes throws his way. He's undeterred by wet feet, treacherous terrain, and adverse weather conditions. Richard's focus is on getting the next image while respecting the nature that surrounds...making sure to leave the area undisturbed.
